Today I would convey in the importance of education in my short speech. On many occasions we hear the term education, but what is education? How importance is education to our country and ourselves as students?
Well, to answer the first question, education refers to a process by which a person develops their skills, attitudes and values. Many times we associate this term with the school, however we must also take into account that education is not exclusive to this institution, but also it is up to the family and even to the friendships with whom we live together day by day, that is why we can say that “men can get to improve each other.” There is a phrase that I like very much and I find it very true. If the people of a country care about the education, it shows that they love their nation. It is said that in order for a country to prosper it needs education, but why?
The honorable audiences, we study not to go to the graduation ceremony and hang our picture on the wall of our house, much less to show off to our friends. we study to practice and to acquire knowledge, and those two then will prepare us to the real life situation. Education brings us too many benefits, such as confidence in ourselves, freedom to decide, conscience as a whole, help us to improve ourselves, to feel fulfilled, to feel that we are something in life and that we have an end for which to live. But this is not the only satisfaction that education gives us, but with it we achieve a better quality of life; When we want to buy a dress, shoes, food, or anything else, we need a work, which currently is not so easy to find and less if we don’t have an adequate education.
It is said that the future of our country is in the hands of the children and as the children in this country, we must try hard to achieve that. That is why today I invite all the audiences here to reflect on the importance of education. We have to take advantage of this chance to be able to go to school to study. We must appreciate the effort that our parents make to send us to school, and think that there are many children who would like to study but for some reason they can not do it.
Finally, ask ourselves: without effort and education, how do we want to improve ourselves? How do we want to live better? In short, how do we want a better country?. Therefore, education is an important part of our life as well as an essential part to develop a better future for the country. So this is the end of my speech today. I hope some of the points that I have conveyed today make us more appreciate of our chance to be able to have the education at school and make us study more dilligently for both our country’s and our own future. Let me give a speech about the environment so that we can reap many lessons. As we know, the environmental conditions that we live today are very different from the environment several decades ago. In the past, we could easily find trees, now the land containing plants has been replaced with housing.
Environmental problems are not only limited to plants. If we are sensitive, many fauna or animals lose their habitat. Humans seize their place of residence, so that animals have difficulty getting a place to live again. Not infrequently, animals that cannot get a house will attack humans in order to get food.

The result was so surprising that 97% of those teenagers admitted to watching porn, 97.3% admitted to kissing, oral s*x and petting. In addition, the case of the fight that has been going on lately is reflecting the nation’s moral decline. Based on the problems above we can say that character education in Indonesia is absolutely needed to fix.
It is a deliberately effort of the whole dimension of life to form the character optimally. It is a basic concept that is applied to the thoughts of someone to make their physique, spiritual, and moral character become more meaningful. This character education should be given to a person’s mind from an early age, adolescents, and adults. So that we can form their characters become more valuable and immoral. By a good character education, we can expect no more children like to brawl, pornography, drugs, and others.
Considering the basic concepts of character education that make up personality, it should be integrated into the curriculum in schools. We can integrate these values into school subjects through the methods of habituation, praise, and sanctions. There are 18 items of character values that can be given in the school including the discipline and honesty. Discipline is the main thing in achieving success. Those are very difficult to apply in daily life. So, there must be someone who plays a role in instilling these values. In the schools, the educational process should not only limited to learning the values of knowledge but it must be more emphasized on moral values, ethics, and aesthetics which is applied in everyday life. To pursue those values, we need 3 supporting component, that is, the family, the teachers, and the community.

Parents should have sense of care toward education and directly involved in overseeing the growth of their children. It should be done in order for not making the parents become the factors that hinder the growth of their children. In giving character education to the teenager, we must certainly need extra patience because the result of character education cannot be seen directly but it requires a long process. Therefore, character education requires synergistic cooperation between the different parties to obtain good results. in Indonesia”
Brothers and Sisters;
Education system in our country is divided into two major parts, they are formal and
non-formal. A formal education is divided into three levels: primary, secondary and
tertiary education. While non-formal education is carried out for the learners who get
difficulties to meet the requirements in formal education. An example of non-formal
education is PLS (Pendidikan Luar Sekolah). Both formal and non-formal education aim
at establishing the education process in our country.
Ladies and Gentlemen;
As I have stated previously, formal education involves three levels: primary, secondary
and tertiary education. Before entering primary or elementary school, children in our
country usually have attended kindergarten, or known as Taman Kanak-kanak. But this
education is not compulsory for Indonesian citizens, as the aim of this is just to prepare
them for primary school.
Children ages 7–12 attend primary education at Elementary School or Sekolah Dasar.
This level of education is compulsory for all Indonesian citizens. Similar to education
systems in the U.S. and Australia, students must study for six years to complete this level.
Some schools offer an accelerated learning program, where students who perform well
can finish elementary school in five years.
The next level is secondary education. After graduating from elementary school, students
attend Middle School or Junior High School (Sekolah Menengah Pertama) for three years
from the age of 13-15. After three years of schooling and graduation, students may move
on to Senior High School. In Indonesia, this school is basically divided into two kinds:
SMA (Sekolah Menengah Atas) and SMK (Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan). SMA is
different with SMK in their studies. The students at SMA are prepared to advance to
tertiary education or university, while students of SMK as a vocational school are
prepared to be ready to work after finishing their school without going to
university/college.
The last level of education in our country is tertiary education. Students who have
graduated from senior high school may attend to university or academy. They can choose
any kinds of university or academy based on their interests or scopes of knowledge, for
example majoring in English, Mathematics, or teacher training university.

Beberapa aspek yang telah dijelaskan di atas, menandakan bahwasanya pengaruh global sudah hampir merasuk dalam seluruh lini aspek kehidupan.

As I have stated previously, formal education involves three levels: primary, secondary
and tertiary education. Before entering primary or elementary school, children in our
country usually have attended kindergarten, or known as Taman Kanak-kanak. But this
education is not compulsory for Indonesian citizens, as the aim of this is just to prepare
them for primary school.
Children ages 7–12 attend primary education at Elementary School or Sekolah Dasar.
This level of education is compulsory for all Indonesian citizens. Similar to education
systems in the U.S. and Australia, students must study for six years to complete this level.
Some schools offer an accelerated learning program, where students who perform well
can finish elementary school in five years.
The next level is secondary education. After graduating from elementary school, students
attend Middle School or Junior High School (Sekolah Menengah Pertama) for three years
from the age of 13-15. After three years of schooling and graduation, students may move
on to Senior High School. In Indonesia, this school is basically divided into two kinds:
SMA (Sekolah Menengah Atas) and SMK (Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan). SMA is
different with SMK in their studies. The students at SMA are prepared to advance to
tertiary education or university, while students of SMK as a vocational school are
prepared to be ready to work after finishing their school without going to
university/college.
The last level of education in our country is tertiary education. Students who have
graduated from senior high school may attend to university or academy. They can choose

Indonesia is an absolutely rich in source and human. So we must say thanks a lot to the God who made us here. But we also must keep both of these resources being maximized and respect all which is contained in.
Teacher is one of the occupation in Indonesia. They are also as the human resources. Being a independent generation which develop the main character of student as the next generation is not a easy. This is why the task of the teacher is heavy.
They are as one of the main factor of the developing countries. Bad or not can be by how teacher in one country. So the fully take a role in education. In case many of the teacher don’t get enough facilities and salary by their occupation.
By seeing in the small region, teacher, to eat some rice is hard. They blamed by their salary can not covered their live cost. In result, other people do not want to be teacher as poor as this situation.
It needs more support from the government to fulfill their live cost, increase their incentive, salary, and other for their wife and children. So they can survive in this hero occupation called “teacher” like in the other developed country, Swiss, Finland, UK.
So, respect teachers by studying hard!

Indonesia adalah Negara yang kaya akan sumber daya baik alam maupun manusia. Jadi kita seharusnya bangga dan bersyukur karena kita telah berada disini kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa. Tetapi kita juga harus menjaga kedua sumber daya ini semaksimal mingkindan menghargai semua yang terkandung di dalamnya.
Guru adalah salah satu bidang pekerjaan di Indonesia. Mereka juga sebagai sumber daya manusia. Menjadi generasi mandiri yang membangun karakter utama para siswa sebaia generasi selanjutnya itu tak mudah. In adalaha tugas yang berat.
Mereka adalah salah satu factor utama di Negara berkembang. Baik buruknya itu dipengaruhi bagaimana gurtu di suatu Negara. Jadi mereka berperan penuh dalam pendidikan. Dalam hal banyak, guru tidak mendapat fasilitas yang cukup dan gaji yang cukup atas pekerjaannya.
Coba lihat di daerah terpencil, guru, untuk makan saja susah! Mereka menyalahkan atas gaji mereka yang tak dapat menutupi buaya hidup. Akibatnya, orang lain yang mengetahui hal ini tidak mau menjadi guru jika keadaan memprihatinkan seperti ini.
Itu membutuhkan dukungan dari pemerintah untuk mencukupi biaya hidup, menaikkan insentif, gaji, dan juga tunjangan anak dan istr. Jadi mereka bias bertahan seperti pahlawan yang berjulukan “Sang Guru” seperti di Negara maju layaknya Swiss, Finlandia, dan Inggris.
Jadi kita sebagai murid juga harus menghargai mereka dengan belajar yang giat!

However, the fact that the younger generation now mostly being individualism, being hedonism and had a low of nationalism's soul. Obviously this is a huge problem for our nation, what will become our nation of this generation are losing the values a noble character, spirit to live together, help each other and between each other. The honorable, my teacher, and my beloved friends, good morning. First of all, thank you for having me here in this fine and joyfull morning. I hope we are all in the good health. Today I would convey in the importance of education in my short speech. On many occasions we hear the term education, but what is education? How importance is education to our country and ourselves as students?
Well, to answer the first question, education refers to a process by which a person develops their skills, attitudes and values. Many times we associate this term with the school, however we must also take into account that education is not exclusive to this institution, but also it is up to the family and even to the friendships with whom we live together day by day, that is why we can say that “men can get to improve each other.” There is a phrase that I like very much and I find it very true. If the people of a country care about the education, it shows that they love their nation. It is said that in order for a country to prosper it needs education, but why?
The honorable audiences, we study not to go to the graduation ceremony and hang our picture on the wall of our house, much less to show off to our friends. we study to practice and to acquire knowledge, and those two then will prepare us to the real life situation. Education brings us too many benefits, such as confidence in ourselves, freedom to decide, conscience as a whole, help us to improve ourselves, to feel fulfilled, to feel that we are something in life and that we have an end for which to live. But this is not the only satisfaction that education gives us, but with it we achieve a better quality of life; When we want to buy a dress, shoes, food, or anything else, we need a work, which currently is not so easy to find and less if we don’t have an adequate education.
It is said that the future of our country is in the hands of the children and as the children in this country, we must try hard to achieve that. That is why today I invite all the audiences here to reflect on the importance of education. We have to take advantage of this chance to be able to go to school to study. We must appreciate the effort that our parents make to send us to school, and think that there are many children who would like to study but for some reason they can not do it.
Finally, ask ourselves: without effort and education, how do we want to improve ourselves? How do we want to live better? In short, how do we want a better country?. Therefore, education is an important part of our life as well as an essential part to develop a better future for the country. So this is the end of my speech today. I hope some of the points that I have conveyed today make us more appreciate of our chance to be able to have the education at school and make us study more dilligently for both our country’s and our own future.
